Just saw one up on maxcnash.com: http://maxcnash.com/sony-rx100-iii-in-review-the-best-performing-compact-is-back-with-a-vengeance/ Looks pretty in-depth to me and with good photos.
  • I had noticed the Max Nash website before. Has only a handful but good hands-on reviews. Maybe they'll post more.
  • Granted, the G1X mII has a few quirks of its own. But if you need a compact camera with a foldable lens that is roughly equivalent to a 24-120mm 2.0-4.0, and with a sensor that lets you work at ...

  • Both are excellent cameras. On the pixel-peeping level, you will find differences one way or another. But I find that the impact on the overall image is rather marginal. Judging on overall image ...
  • I wouldn't bid on a high ticket item on ebay unless the seller were high rated and made plenty of sales to date. I purchased two brand new lenses for significantly less than their market price ...
  • Right, the X-T1 comes with a pretty large improvement in continuous shooting. It will be a better suited camera for action shooting, which the E-X2 kinda lacked. We'll see how it actually fares ...
  • Going with a X-E1 instead of a X-E2 could be a wise decision. Image quality is pretty much the same, so it comes down to whether you want to spend the extra dollars on the additional features, ...
  • The X-T1 looks fantastic. It’s a major shot across the bow of Olympus and their OMD line. As the owner of an X-E2 and a number of XF primes I can’t wait to get my hands on the X-T1. Fuji is ...
  • A smaller body is what I'd like to see. Canon doesn't have a similar-sized competitor to the likes of Fuji X20, Ricoh GR, Nikon Coolpix A etc. The trend seems to be to pack a lot of power and ...
  • The trend runs increasingly stronger toward compacts that pack lots of power, and it's a trend that seems to be continuing full steam ahead. The X20 is one of the important players in the field ...

  • Here's a good tutorial on all these factors, it's one of the best explained that I was able to find. Just so everybody who cares to read and apply themselves can get a grip on the discussion here. ...

This is a great camera in good light conditions, but as expected the image gets pretty grainy with dimmer light. ISO 800 results in quite large grains. Definitely not for a pixel peeper :)

  • If you want a truly pocketable camera, why not go for the S120? Image quality is good, giving more realistic colors than more expensive cameras like the Sony RX100 (II). If a little heavier camera ...
  • The Sony may have a large sensor but the entry level lens is crappy. With the X20, you get a much better tradeoff. The lens performs very well at any distance plus superb macro. IQ is consistently ...
  • Like so many mentioned already, the larger sensor of the XS1 is a win, and coupled with the current prices, it gets as close to a steal as it can. I'd say totally go for it. But if you can go into ...
