In my opinion, phone camera must perform best in daylight. Personally I try to avoid use it at dark times, because results are very bad. I have dedicated cameras for that. So this phone has no advantage over any other, even if it performs a little bit better in low light situations, but no better in daylight.

"Samsung is a great competitor simply because they are making great products at the moment."
Not agreed. Samsung is going ridiculous oversizing everything they make. Samsungs marketing is going through, speed, quantity and size, but not quality.

I think many people know Sony better for TVs, walkmans, or other electronics. But look at the NEX series, RX100, then RX1... At least Sony is reading your moans and is trying to make cameras of your dreams. Guys from Fujifilm as well. Yes, they are still not perfect and pricey, but they are not cheap to make. And at this price point, you can't expect it to be best-seller. Look at Canon and Nikon, still playing market leaders and trying to convince you with crap cameras. Actually, they are doing nothing now. Big up for Sony.

RX100 is really good. And I'm not a biased to any maker or brand. More I use it more I love it. Pictures are very detailed, video is amazing. It blows any other compact. Actually after RX100 - m43 makes no sense. Before you critisize - you must use it, and respect the fact that it fits any your pocket.

Nah.. Don't like how exposure meter works. Looks like Fuji tends to overexpose as well.
Interesting slogan "Life companion"...
I think samsungs' marketing department wants to say - you don't need friends, just buy this toy...
Camera full of bugs, that seriously crashes during review, leaving it almost unusable - gets GOLD. WoW...
Don't see point of TX30. This segment has been killed by smartphones long ago.

Rally Man: Looks great, but lack of expandable memory killed it for me.
And for those that say 16/32GB is plenty, good for YOU, not for ME.
Would make sense if you'd work at CERN...

"EOS" probably is just code name used in developing time. I'm sure it will be called Lumia "some number" PureView.
Lumia 820 and 920 are too big. I wish Nokia would make something smaller and hand / pocket frendlier.
Any good from company that makes everything? I mean EVERYTHING: from cr@ppy smartphones to power plants..
Nothing new and unusual. Take a picture of death and pain - and you'll the best.
Times of making the sensation.
Pros:
Very pocketable format.
Yeah, rrright...

Nokia 808 kills samsung S3 in one hit. Even iPhone 5 is better than S3.
Some samples in the REVIEW galery suspiciuously looks were taken from PREVIEW day out testing. But wasn't that camera PRE-product?
Whose girlfriend (wife) was taking pictures this time? :)
Great reading. Iceland is amazing.
But personally vertical framing for landscapes just doesn't look effective.
