Well 35 mm is fine, but I wish it would be slightly bigger for better look. In this case 35mm f1.8 would be perfect.
Digital Suicide: I'm pretty sure that RAW support will be added some time later through firmware update. The same way S6 received it.
I thought some carriers already are seeding 5.1.1 with manual controls and RAW support, but if not my mistake :)

Twin Peaks :)
Seeing body of the GX8, I was expecting at least APS-C sensor. And the price... Oh man. No more modesty at Panasonic. Common sense either.
mpgxsvcd: The improvements in Auto ISO alone should get this camera the gold award. It will get it for a number of other reasons as well though.
Finally, it took 4 generations to fix 1/60 problem. Now it might be usable in auto mode. But as mk1 ex owner I don't think mk4 is more inspiring than was mk1 uninspiring. Those are good cameras, but lacks simplicity and ease using them. LX100 is better choice IMO.
OngNikon: Each time a new camera came out, there are always tons of experts who will run it down, saying that there is no improvement or worst than the last model.
I just wonder how did we get this current level of marvelous digital imaging technology?, since last year's one is as good, ir not, better than this year's!
Congrats, you 're one of those experts.
Digital Suicide: They say, 5.1.1 update will provide RAW and exposure control, sometime in june or july. This will add a cherry on a cake. This crapsung finally looks good. Good sensor, focal length, post processing. I wouldnt care for waterproofness. Just don't like native aspect ratio 16:9 - it's ridiculous.
Perhaps it is OK for your project, if you are PANORAMA or VIDEO lover, but in general photography (street photography to be specific) it's useless. iPhone 6 (focal length 29mm) in 4:3 aspect ratio is more height-wider than S6 (28mm) in 16:9. Obviously this sensor was dedicated to video mode.I wish there was more specific info on how all selective aspect ratios apply on the sensor.

BorisK1: What are the 35mm equivalent focal lengths for the front and back cameras, anybody knows?
For the back one 28mmNot sure about front.
Yes, this is truly the one, perfect camera that I was dreaming about. Sadly, can't afford it.
zigi_S: Thought it would be worse. But it actually isn't bad for a superzoom. With 2000mm focal length you can shoot birds from your couch.
..Or cats, babies and flowers :)
"At canon we see the impossible".
ealvarez: I kind of get it.. it is ugly..like bad ass ugly.. it screams features. Innovation. I like it. I want one.
Features, innovation? Maybe, but mostly it's just marketing. Do you really think you'll start taking better pictures than you do with your current camera? I doubt it.
Why don't they release a new A7 model within every half-year? Like they do with their Xperia Z-smartphones...
Instant picture watermark imprint feature coming.
So it was just an apology to us, coz canon is "it can't be done" company.
Is that a bankruptsy statement? Or did they finally aknowledge their inovation department disabiity?
Very overexposed frames. But that's OK, shooter is in love with the brown eyed girl.
