Bach Photo: Just bought one and I'll be returning it, 72 degree air conditioned room and over-heat alarm goes on at 22 minute of recording time. That is not just unacceptable, it's ridiculous. This could be a great camera, I'm really not sure how it scored as high as it did with such a glaring flaw.
Have you tested what it does at lower resolution setting? I'm interested in the camera for stills but would like the option of some video from time to time.
That under the bridge shot is fantastic.
Hope it comes with the astro track feature.
I am really liking the D810a.
I'm torn to what to purchase, D500 or the K1....sigh.
Love the Astrotracer feature. This will be my next camera.
Fortunately I don't need such expensive AF tracking :-)
I love the K3 II but this I might spend the money to upgrading to.
The lens looks like a wide field eye piece.
I hope it inherits sensor astro tracking.
I love the idea of using the stabilization as a astro tracker.
What, no touch screen?
My insurance covers for theft and loss at home or from auto.
oheggo: Received a new U2713Hb from Dell as a replacement for my new U2711 with some problems. IMO the anti glare coating are better on the U2713, but it is a lot worse in terms of viewing angle issues. With this monitor size you will see uneven density and color shifts (yellow/blue) even if you are positioned right in front of the U2713. I would not recomend it for critical Photoshop work even if it covers 99% of Adobe RGB.
Glossy clear coating is the only way to go for photo editing.
Hope it doesn't have the usual crappy anti-glare matte that makes it impossible to distinguish noise from the matte artifacts.
$89 PS would be a dream and might actually make more money for Adobe.
If thy put a nice BIG sensor in it I might be very interested.
Some of those EXR images are awesome and if you need to reproduce difficult lighting conditions then this is the camera.
If I am going to carry all that gear I'll just dust off my GI issued alice pack.
Jim in AZ: I could never get PSP to install under Windows 7 64-bit.
Always stops after you accept the EULA. From my research it is a wide spread problem not just limited to me.
