About me:

retired hvac industrial designer. I have been shooting since I picked up photography while serving in the Army in 1958.
I am now shooting photo's for magazines. I currently own (2) Panasonic G3 bodies and have the 14 mm, 20mm, 25 mm, 45 mm, 14-45mm and 45-200 mm lens. I am shooting stock photo's and have been selling to a magazine here in NC called Our State magazine. I do this part time and have made anything from $100 to $1,000 per issue. Not enough to make a living, but then I am retired. I am currently working to expand my market and move into other publications.

published in: The Christian Science Monitor, Our State magazine, BlueRidge Country magazine.

Rick Knepper are you sure about that? Fad in the Documentary/ Street Photography forum said my shots were too small, so I deleted the photos from the gallery and then reloaded the gallery with larger images. Now when I look at my old post, the photos are gone.

I own each of their products and use them daily. Today I wanted to look at the online training videos that they offer, and have not been able to watch them. At first I thought that it might be my computer, but I have been watching a few tutorials on Youtube, and they work. Maybe everyone over there at Nik are busy else where today. Nik software plus Light Room make my photography so much better.

Charles Pike: I just bought a Nik bundle from B&H for around $250 that includes 4 of the Nik products. I was looking at the b&w program that was around $200 just last weekend, but B&H was closed at the time. Went back yesterday, and found that I could buy 4 programs for the $250 amount. These are not student copies, but full blown copies. I had used the Color Pro before when I shot Nikon, and loved it, but didn't have a copy that worked with LR3, so I am really looking forward to getting my new copy that comes tomorrow. Four programs, for the cost of one, with just a little extra.

update I was wrong about it being 4 different programs. B&H has the Nik Creative Efex Collection which includes HDR Efex pro, Silver Efex Pro 2, and Color Efex Pro 3 for $254. I already own the Viveza 2, and had counted that as well. sorry for the mistake. Still it is a good deal.
