tkpenalty: People who think the portrait grip is unecessary might want to try shooting with a 1200mm lens first.
Well, we'll need to have this camera reviewed before we can any definitive statement. 1200mm vs 600mm will certainly be tempting to some, hence the Canon SX50 having a following. Compared to the SX50, not having raw looks a misstep.
(personally, I'll keep dreaming of a Canon 500/600/800 L lens I can't afford...)
