You should read reviews before criticizing them. It will give at least minimal cred.

The tilting lcd changes the equation - by using it as a waist level finder and tensioning the strap around your neck, you have a stable framing/shooting base. The RX1 doesn't have that.

The new sigma 35mm f1,4 is very sharp edge to edge/corner to corner.

I've been using fat cow. It seems to have all the bells and whistles and has been trouble free.

When your files are corrupted and start vanishing I think you'll find the real world knocking at your door. Leave minimally 10% free or you will have definite problems.

$2800 and no way to stably frame a shot? How is that delightful?

Also look at HP. Tend to be more technically advanced.

Darken screen - use search for many threads on subject.

I will keep the 35 f2 - Its only weak spot is the corners, otherwise it's sharp and more importantly small and light. It's a lovely lens but for critical sharpness at the corners it's a tough...

Just got it and testing it. My main concern is corner sharpness - it is very very good. Heavy and big though - but if you're used to L lenses that shouldn't be a concern. For street use I'd...

Either of these lenses are very good, light and unintimidating. They are also quite inexpensive.

Think about it - think about what you see.

It's nice that blind people contribute to the comment page - heartwarming.

According to blackmagic a 64gb card holds 50 minutes of raw footage - using my math skills I think you're off by a factor of 4.

You might want to consider an epson 4990 and with the money you save invest in the following things:
vue scan software (http://www.hamrick.com)
and a custom film holder...

Apple is well known for this both for software and hardware(see final cut pro etc.). Appleworks was discontinued many many years ago, as was pages - the openoffice suggestion is good - you could...
