I don't know if the link works here, but these are my photos posted on GEV Magazine's facebook fan page. The order of photos have been mixed up.
I shot these with K5 and mostly DA*50-135, and some...

Mine goes to the editor for proper watermarking, etc. If it goes online I will post a link, perhaps here :-)

OOOOPs, I didn't read your complete post and seeing the whole picture before answering. I saw the model and immediately knew what it was.
Yes, that's me and my shiny bald head using K5 overhanded...

I was there shooting with K5 and 50-135 for a magazine. Ed Jay was also there with his Pentax. Were you shooting as part of media? How we could have missed another Pentaxian :-)

If you are running Win7 and IE as your browser, you simply right click on the "I agree..." button and then from the dropdown menu select "copy shortcut". Open a new tab, paste the link and edit it.

Well, at least Pentax USA gave you increased, and uncertain lens prices! Isn't that enough :-)
But joking aside, you are right and it would have been nice if Ricoh at least had communicated their...

Can Pentax K-01 going to be useful for what you are looking for?

An ordinary street scene, but I cannot take my eyes off of it. The colors and lighting is simply captivating.

As always enjoyable to look at your work. It is amazing how much work goes into creating an image. Namely, models, makeup, lighting, posing, editing, etc and the camera gear some of us are...

I occasionally do!
PPG has a problem. The problem I see is it is completely automated and seems no final human involvement in acceptance process. I see photos with large watermarks against the...

Mark, thank you for your detailed response. I was ready to buy the K5-IIs for the sole reason of autofocus improvements. Then I read few test results, I think in the other forum, and the...

Mark,
Fantastic blog. I do runway fashion shows using Pentax. Runway shows are almost like sport photography since you get lots of movements.
I use the K5 original and it is wonderful in terms...

I think LanceB is now mostly a Nikon person. Does it mean addiction to buying other brands of lenses still qualifies as LBA? Or, LBA only applies to the small Pentax community?

I don't think you have to spent a fortune for radio triggers. I am using these inexpensive Cowboystudio radio triggers ( one transmitter and two receivers for $30) from Amazon. I am using them...

Focus peaking????? Are you talking about K5 firmware 1.14? Where? What? Is this a joke?

I have two Vivitar 285s, one Yongnue 560II and of course one Pentax AF540. I use all of them with my softobx and umbrellas. When using as a single onboard flash I grab any of them, but normally...

I have only one AF540 flash, and if I am not wrong, I have seen other people who have discussed the same over exposure behavior here. But, as I said I am now very used to use the flash in manual...

I updated to 1.14 and first thing to test was to test p-ttl with 540 flash. Nope! no correction still overexposes badly if the head is tilted slightly up! As before auto mode is the best mode to...
