A slight correction I should have written ZD14-54 Mk II as that version was optimized for CDAF using the Four Thirds Live View.  I have no knowledge of how the Mk I version would behave on the mFT...

As I read this thread the OP's main problem is that he wants a good zoom lens for those times when he finds his primes unsuitable to his purpose. Let me suggest that you try the Four Thirds ZD14...

Thanks for the comment... My E-30 is now 3 years old and is probably the best handling camera... that is on that disappears when in use ... that I've had, unlike the mFT which crams all those...
