  • Bought this to replace the kit lens I had been using on my D7100( So I could sell that lens with the D7000). Does the job quite well. Even used it to shoot a wedding.

Shot this beaten-up Snapper s it came ashore from the Chenango River in NYS.
It appeared to have been in collision with a fishing boat at some time as its head and the front part of the shell show injuries from a propeller. A living Dinosaur.

Show me the zoo with LIVING dinos! Please?

  • Yep, Gerry, they are just re-engined, replacing the Diamler-Benz with a more available engine. The rest of the airframe is the same. Often used in WWII movies as BF109's.

  • Commented on Orangutan in the My best picture this week challenge

Senior Orang citizen, "What am I thinking of?"
    Can you guess?
Nice pic of this old fellow.
Personal opinion; deserved a better place than 14th.

    Got Lunch? Great shot!

Not everyone is built like Arnold S.

This beetle is an unusual beauty with it's bright color it looks like burnished metal. About 1/2" long.
Shot 3 1/2 years ago with my first superzoom a Fuji S700. An all auto camera that let me concentrate on the picture. I have moved on since then but this was my introduction to serious Digital photography
