I disagree. I like the DOF on all of the above...but that's just me. Perhaps you like everything in sharp focus....
Would this cat be improved by increasing the DOF?
I suspect there are some who...

HI!
I don't have an answer for you, other than it is reminiscent of what I sometimes get using the U-points in NX2.

Hi!
The fisheye is one of the most under appreciated lenses!
Used poorly, the results can be particularly awful. But used properly, it affords the ability to offer relatively unique perspectives....

Hi Chad,
I had suspected that you were dealing with challenging lighting...... (There's a reason that i do not yet own any 50mm prime lenses...)

(Note that the OP stated that fine tuning didn't help and that after seeing the f/16 picture I commented that the lens had a problem, so I agree with your suspicion of a mis-aligned...

Hi!
If you look at the sidelines of a Lakers game. you'll see 24-70's, 70-200VR's and sometimes a 300VR or 200VR, as well as the occasional wide angle.
I'm guessing that they could care less about...

You're welcome!

HI!
Try to find a reliable reference, that doesn't say that the corner performance at f/2.8 of the 17-35 lags significantly behind that of the 24-70 or 14-24.
That said, over the years, there...

You are not...

"Performance"?
Well, the performance might be better, unless the image is further degraded by poor auto focusing and/or motion secondary to too slow a shutter speed, both of which tend to plague...

HI!
As is appropriate, many have pointed to the 300 f/4 as a way to get high quality reach.
If you have any doubts about what can be achieved with the 300 f/4, look here.
