Has anybody noticed how many "winter landscapes" are included here, when the rule specifically states "no winter landscapes"?
Hooray!! I am glad "best picture this week" is returning. It certainly makes my day and makes my challenge entering much easier. Thanks, Lext123!
Please define "mushrooms".....do you mean all fungi of all shapes?
How exciting!!! I wish I were 40 years younger..........
IcyVeins: I'm glad you gave an additional award to the photo with the highest LEGITIMATE score. Did you choose this as the "editor's choice" winner for that reason, or because you liked it the best and the vote score was just a coincidence? Either way great contest and hopefully the next one has something in plae to prevent people from riggint the results.
We should have only Editors Choice as winners of all DPR photo contests, including the Challenges. Voting always leads to shenanigans, or at least the appearance of such.
I disagree, respectfully of course, with all those who say, or recommend, a micro four thirds camera, or ANY DSLR, as a replacement for the Panasonic FZ50. They are two different creatures, and one is not capable of replacing the other. I long for, as many, many others do, a replacemt/upgrade for the beloved FZ50. But an interchangeable lens camera is not the answer, although very capable. Wishing may make it so.......
