From Ricoh XR-X to Pentax *ist D to Pentax K-5. And some compacts now an then (my past favourite: Panasonic TZ-3).
Cool image! I like it a lot!
Ehem, 10cm = 4 inches, sorry.
Pat Curley was right: This is a close-up photo of a ferrofluid, a fluid which contains nanometer large magnetic metal particles. It is placed in a fruit-dish-like arrangement (Isabelcatalana was not too wrongt). A magnetic field can be switched on, which guides the magnetic liquid to follow the field lines somehow - this is what generates the star-like features. The area imaged is about 10cm (2inches) across.
Eye on a wooden artifact.
How do I put links in the description?
Near perfect! How did you arrange the light - I can't figure this out? A very subtle observation, which may result in a slight improvement: Your underground shows a double/triple reflection. Maybe a single reflection would make it even better? Great inspiration, your shot!
All wrong so far :-)
Industrial cookie forms.
I would prefer the yellow car to be turned a bit more to the right (as seen from the driver). The lighting should be better so that you can be able to distinguish between the different black parts of the cars. And the dust in the foreground is disturbing a bit.
I can imagine a slight improvement, if you crop away some pixels on the right side. Great moment, very well shot!
My first idea was your aquarium from inside out...
I think the last apple is hidden a bit too much. Maybe the focus could be on the middle apple? I like the contrast of the green to the black background!
Shivaess: While I know it is a reboot of the K-5 the K-5 IIs seems to have enough "new" about it to qualify for this list. Additionally, as a token pentax camera I'd like to see the flagship representative :-)
(There is also something to be said for the fact that this would divide an already smaller voting block, but what can I say I'm a fan.
I totally agree. The K-5 IIs seems to be a real innovation worth being included in the vote.
