Are u sure a really fast lens is what you want?  when the T's are in focus the A will be blurred.  when the A is in focus the T's will be blurred.  better lighting might be better for shoots.  hehe

Shallow dof will be better on the GF1/20mm combo, but high iso, AF speed, and HD video is much better on the RX100 vs the GF1.

I had the XZ-1 and I prefer the rx100. There's just a lot more you can do with the RX100 and the high iso + video are leagues above that of the XZ-1. It's also more pocketable. I agree the Oly...

Go with 10mp only if you want smaller file sizes. There's really no advantage other than that.
