I keep a copy of both manuals on my handheld device. I also have a copy on my camera's memory card so I can reference it from the camera if need be.

I'd look at the ZS/TZ series with GPS. (ZS19 lacks the ZS20's GPS) The latest in the series - the ZS30/TZ40 - also includes full remote control with viewfinder via wifi from a smartphone.
