  • I'm sorry. I failed to mention that I do video work for Fotodiox. I apologize for the lack of transparency. I am still going to buy one when I get my BMPCC : )
  • The second video Fotodiox released today goes into more detail about the Light Cannon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQy-9EflLgA Skip to 2:18 for the skinny on the Light Cannon.
  • This looks promising. May have to buy one for my BMPCC. http://www.thephoblographer.com/2014/07/09/fotodiox-announces-budget-line-excell-1-speedboosters/
  • Replied in Typical
Sadly, this has become typical of Apple. They merged Final Cut Pro and iMovie a few years back and I had to jump ship for Adobe Premiere. They seem to be less interested in creating pro software ...
  • I love all coffee, even Taco Bell coffee! : ) In college I would make a double coffee mocha in the dining common. It consisted of: 1. Half a cup of vat brewed junk coffee 2. Half a cup of vat ...
  • It's like eating grapefruit. It tastes terrible at first, but eventually your mind figures out where the flavor is. Also: sugar helps : P
  • I'm kind of interested in playing around with them. I recently made this video for a company I work for where I mounted cokin filters on a GoPro. It was a lot of fun and it started me thinking ...
  • I used a Walgreens to get these developed and scanned, though finding a Walgreens or a CVS that offers film services is getting harder and harder. Unless you want to shoot on film, you're best bet ...
  • I said it was crazy suggestion : ) No, it aint waterproof, but it also doesn't have any electric bits, or even metal bits for that matter. I've gotten some really nice images out of it though.
  • When you're shooting video and you point your lens at a light source, you'll definitely see any dust that's there on the lens. I think it's more noticeable in video because the dust on the lens ...
  • I've used some cheap Thrift Store Pentax Sears branded glass on my Rebel T2i with a Fotodiox Pentax K to EOS adapter. Got some pretty nice results. These two were both shot with a 50mm.
  • I think it's a really cool idea. As an avid collector of cameras, both film and digital, both lo and hi-fi, I say the more the merrier. It looks like another cool and fun lo-fi tool.
  • This is my fave coffee-related photo I've taken. Shot with a Superheadz Black Slim Devil on Tri-X.
  • This a crazy suggestion, but it's totally true. A Superheadz Black Slim Devil is light, durable, and takes incredible photos. The only downside is it only works in bright sunlight.
  • Nice capture. I like the photo. Who knows if she's an amateur though? She may be the best photographer there.
  • An Olympus XA. Love that thing.
  • The woman is wearing interesting color, which helps the shot. Also, you could argue there's a truth here about age and being alone. Some people have allready mentioned that you could have asked ...
  • I think what's really going on here is a conflict between photographic philosophies. One one side you have the HDR crowd, who view photographing the image as a starting point for a more complex, ...
  • This was my first camera. My folks bought it for me for a 4H photography course. It actually still takes great photos.
  • Not sure if this is helpful, but I use this rig for shooting video with my T2i and it works pretty well. Maybe a bit too big for what you're doing? ...
