I use all my 1980's lenses with my D5000.....no whiz-bang electronics, manual everything, Crisp glass. So count me in the minority.

I got tired of choosing eyes.....so i used said icepick to also jab out 1 eye and taped fishing line crosshairs over my only eye so i could compose shots even if i don't have a camera on me.

I shank my viewfinders and lcd screens with an icepick until they are destroyed. Then i make cross hairs with fishing line and a toilet paper tube and glue it to my hotshoe. Gives me perfect shots...

I have a Casio ex-fh100 that can go up to 1000fps. Though the vid is small at that speed, so i use it at 480fps. My Canon SX-40 also goes up to 240fps.The casio would be fairly cheap price...
