Who gave you that kind of "advice"? That's perfectly wrong and, when it comes to the 20% "rule", the opposite is true.

??? Actually, Nokia has always produced the best cameraphones. The cameras of their models have always been better than competing products of the same time. For example, back in 2007, could you...

It'll surely come. They too know there's a big demand for such a model.

"wait for 1-2 days from now and check back later. Now it still very expensive" You mean 4K recording? You may have meant years. In, say, two years from now there surely will be 4Kp30-capable...

Do you want to keep the full temporal resolution, that is, 60 fields per second? Then, you could give a try to Episode if you have it - it has some decent interlace converter.
If you don't (that...

HandBrake is probably the best plain converter - highly recommended if you don't want to edit your footage beforehand, "only" convert it to H.264 MP4's.
HOWEVER! As the source is interlaced in...

"Apple monitors. The current 2560*1600 is already being replaced by 4K monitors" There isn't a single Apple monitor with 4K resolution, unfortunately. And there won't be for at least a year for...

The LX series still has a BIG advantage over the RX100: it starts at 24mm. A HUGE difference, I'd say. (And also it has a hotshoe.) And its IQ is sufficiently good for a family / travel shooter...
-
Also, a huge advantage of it is having wideangle at 29.8mm. Not even the G10/G20 are capable of this (they both start at 30.4mm; only the forthcoming G30 can (26.4mm when not using electronic IS)...

also, they (at least the better ones including the m50 / G10 / G20, that is, the natively 2 Mpixel ones) don't exhibit (that bad) aliasing / moire effects, thanks for their natively 2 Mpixel...

While I haven't handled the hx20v myself, I think it can't hold a candle to the IQ of the top consumer video cameras like the M50.
Sony cameras, having 16+ Mpixels, all have to use line skipping...

Here are some great 1080p60 AVCHD MTS clips to test video decoding performance of 1080p60/28 Mbps...

These two are pretty great for 1/4 shots - the OIS seems to be doing a pretty great job.

1" sensor with 24mm WA and preferably GPS + compass for me.

Absolutely agreed. While I like my ZS3, I just can't stand its AF speed. It's REALLY slow even compared to the 2011 Nikon P300, let alone newer models. The same stands for the OIS - it's really bad...

You do NOT need to completely reencode 50/60p videos: most players (incl. the hardware decoder of iOS devices) play back even 1080p60 mov / mp4 / m4v videos just fine.
That is, use the simple...

1, Thanks, will check B&H.
2, yup, the eBay versions were all either Japanese-only NTSC ZS30's (for $500+) or PAL-only European TZ40's. This will surely change in the future - I've also ordered my...
-
Much better results than expected. I'll definitely order the ZS30. (Now, does anyone know a reliable eBay seller selling true 60 fps, non-crippled ZS30's to European buyers? Here in Europe, you can...

All your three posts at DPReview advertise the same (pretty lousy) converter. Please stop advertising, including links to hdcamcorderconverttips, which is also a disguised Br*rsoft advertisement...
