I could never trust Adobe, and I don't use their products, mainly due to the outrageous prices. There are comparable products out there at a small fraction of Adobe prices. This security issue is...

Generally this is a good list. I have all of the above packed, plus a couple more items: - A graduated ND - A couple of color filters - A monopod. Cant trust a mini tripod with a Canon 5D and a...

I too have always felt the same way. I'm hoping that a magazine, or an organization, as reputable as NG would not leave her without rewarding her generously, but not just give her a couple of two...

Exactly. Clearly (based on the court ruling) the contract with the government kept the copyrights with the artist. So it was for a one-time-use (the memorial display). If the government reps were...

Best Buy may not carry the Panasonic line, but the FZ200 can be purchased directly from Panasonic. They do put it on sale every once in a while (as much as $150 off). I bought mine directly from...

If I can ask Panasonic for just ONE wish, then I would ask for zoom and focus rings, or AT LEAST a manual focus ring. Manual focus as it is now (with the switches) is horrible. I have seen many...

No, please. I love the 600mm on my FZ200 (with the f2.8 all the way from 25-600mm Leica lens). I am sure there are many who would want it even longer (800mm, 1000mm, etc.), but then you can't have...

I doubt that the f2.8 across the entire zoom range would come with an 800 or 900mm. You'd need a much larger diameter. I have had the FZ200 for about a year now. I absolutely love the camera. F2.8...

I have been an SLR and DSLR (including full-frame) user for a few decades (45 years, at least). I can tell you that if you were using the Panasonic FZ200 (25-600mm, f 2.8 across the entire zoom...

You are talking about your own lenses. I have also shot with all kinds of Canon lenses over the past 45 years and never had a lens failure, or needed service. It's a completely different story...

It is not a bad idea to get the Canon EOS-M as a second camera. I plan to get one to use it when I don't feel like carrying my Canon 5D and its heavy zoom lenses.
You already have the Nikon lenses....

I certainly hope that opening this shop will not have a big negative impact on reviews, ratings, and judgment. DPR may say it won't, but I doubt that, especially on the long run. As for you don't...

The specs list says NO external flash, but the pictures show a hot shoe! So I think the "No" in the specs is incorrect.

Too bad the screen is not articulated, and not of higher resolution. Of course it makes sense for Panasonic to keep the FZ200, which is selling well, and has been highly rated in the various...

I believe that the f5.9 is the minimum (widest) at the full zoom of 1200mm, but does not mean you can't go to f8 or f11. Just my guess.
-
Not if you have to have a 60X zoom.

I add my voice to the 16-35mm wish-list, as will as to the FF version wish-list, even if filter size is to be larger, like 82mm, for example. Hopefully Sigma is taking notes.

Unfortunately some of us are missing the point entirely. This is a student doing a project. It's a start for crying out loud. Who knows, maybe after getting hired by some entity like Canon, and...

@jadedgamer: I agree that a simpler system can be beneficial sometimes, if not often times! I still LOVE my Canon T90s (all 3 of them), and the long line of Canon FD lenses that go with them,...

I think you have missed the point entirely, Dennis.
