The detailed EXIF gives the lens as the EF-S 60mm Macro lens.

Some interesting images, nicely selected and really show off your own capabilities and those of the camera. Nicely done.

The features are certainly impressive, but in all honesty, don't do anything for me.
Coupled with the risk (however remote) of bricking the camera and voiding the warranty... I can't see any reason...

Looks like quite a contraption. Definitely an upgrade from something!

Very interesting observations, thanks for sharing them.
Its always intriguing to know what people are using and how they are using it in different places.
The lack of understanding of primes/back...

Same here. I use it alongside a 85mm f1.8 frequently. Great lens for the money.

Never heard such a thing about the 50D. Someone is either trying to mislead you, or has been mislead themselves.
That said, the 50D LCD is protected with a piece of hard glass, which is supposedly...

I've been using a couple of the SanDisk 16GB 60MB/s cards as my main cards for a while now with no problems. Plenty fast enough for 8fps burst shooting, HD Video, the lot.

When all you see is your own photos, it can be easy to get lost in them and not know what is good nd bad compared to what is out there.
I always welcome comments but don't often ask for them....

If you have a problem with that image, but not with the others... well, you've got a problem, not the photographer.

Interesting introduction to the concept, but it is not the physical size of the aperture that matters, but the apparent size of the aperture.
Because the aperture assembly is buried somewhere in...

As others have said, the first stop should be the school.
If you require any additional releases (ie for future commercial use) the school should be able to advise if any existing releases would...

You're not holding the camera steady.
I mean this in a subjective manner, if the shutter speed is coming out as over a second (thats what 1.0" means) then there is no physical way that you're...

What part of the lens not supporting the teleconverter (officially) makes you think that the camera should support the unsupported lens/teleconverter combination?
That it works on the 1DX may be...

When using live-veiw, the mirror is up and the shutter is open. The image displayed on the back of the camera is the direct image from the sensor.
When using the veiwfinder, a combination of...

This makes it sound like it is not the shutter button problem that I mentioned earlier in the thread. I haven't heard about that issue affecting the 60D at all.
However if it is not beeping to...

The price may be improving, but not by *that* much.

Don't forget that the EOS-M has no viewfinder and is therefore always in live-view mode. The SL1 will be able to achieve better battery life by simply using the viewfinder.

That is interesting. I'm surprised they don't also have it on the "Enthusiast" page. I still don't think it will exclusively appeal to that market segment, and it seems to have more features...
