You can focus much faster with the X-E1. Silly boy.

The Fuji X100S is what the Fuji X100 should have been. You'll pay thousands more to step up to Leica.
-
Little reason not to save a lot of money and buy into the Fuji X system instead.

Only third-party I have is the Tokina 12-24 f4 II, and as you've no doubt noticed with the 11-16, build quality is simply excellent and optics very good.
The Tokina is half the price of the...

Tell use more about your time living with the Russian models. Surely it wasn't all just popcorn and late-night fridge raids?
-
No problem, Wasserball, I was being a little facetious.
The Nikon 24-70 IS a heavy lens.
Important thing is to enjoy the vacations! :)
-
Yeah, contrast that with lightening-fast and 100% accurate focus from the Nikon 24-70. Not to mention METAL construction, full weather-sealing, etc. You gets what you pays for, I guess.

I'm a D7000 owner, but ALWAYS buy the latest tech. You're going to have your camera for years so get in on the best currently available at your price level.
Buy the 35 1.8 next -- fantastic general...

I bring the Nikon 24-70 f2.8 with me on every trip. It is my main travel lens, though I should note I use it on DX (the Nikon D7000). The f2.8 makes a huge difference, as does the lightening fast...

You can take pictures with the Nikon 24-70 f2.8 and have fun looking at the incredible results, or shoot with the 24-85 and hate yourself for compromising on image quality.

The Tamron is plastic. Nikon's 24-70 uses METAL. Long as people are happy with their cheap purchase, that's great.
-
Ridiculous statement -- serious photographers want excellence at ONE HUNDRED PERCENT, not 200%.
-
Tokina 12-24 f4 II.
Half the price of the Nikon and very good. Small difference between f4 and f5.6. Almost no difference between f5.6 and f8.

Thanks for that figure straight from your ass.
-
What fatuous posts you make.

Utter garbage. Photoshop gives PHOTOGRAPHERS control over images that Lightroom users can't even dream of.
-
Incredibly stupid comparison. You BUY Apple's software and download it. That's it. You don't keep paying every month for it to continue working.
-
Yeah, Joe, because 28mm has the same OPTICAL QUALITIES as 70mm.
-
This is a money grab at the expense of honest users, plain and simple.

Get the MacBook Pro, partition the drive, run OSX on one side, Windows 7 on the other, you'll be getting a powerful, elegant, and reliable machine and the best of both worlds in terms of operating...
