My D7000 should be good for another year. After that its this or the D3s. If only the price was more reasonable.

D3100 deal is good, and I would recommend the 70-300mm ed non-vr if you wanted more reach. If you wanted to do some indoor shots, though, get the 55-200.

Just get the sony nex 5n instead

Just another Rebel. If it was $600 it could have been compared to a Nikon D5100 or Sony Nex-5n, but at $1200 a D700 would crush it. Just another marketing stunt that failed.

For this quality, this lens is under-priced. One of the best DX lenses on a very affordable range. Auto focus is solid, and there is no need for manual because you shouldn't be shooting anything...

As a replacement, this camera shines. As for the price, you can't beat it. Having the same sensor as the D7000, image quality is excellent everywhere from bright light to low light without flash....

This lens is not bad at all if you just bought yourself a 7D. It gives you sharp images and IS is a big help in any situation. The aperture range is also pretty decent and the exposure comes out...
