who here has seen top quality silver halide film based prints and thought that they preferred the look of digital camera capture and printing ?
I can even give an example.
you can now purchase a very fine HD camcorder for a few thousand bucks.
by every measurement it surpasses the old film stock of yesteryear.
yet I prefer film in this...

i have done platinum printing including mixing the coating - making a uv light box, development ect...even know the tricks when it comes to...
this is no contest.
film wins hands down vs digital when it comes to black and white.
you can make any kind of statements you want - get into technical debates and pixel peep.
