Placed 22nd in the challenge. The Rhombic Night Adder is found in sub-Saharan Africa only - this is a juvenile; although it fills the frame it was only about 14cm long. Average length is approx. 60cm.
Contrary to their name they are active during daytime as well. Venomous but low toxicity, unlikely to be fatal.
