Wow.... 25 years ago.
The man must be retired by now.
It's nice to see a simple shot winning it.
Great job, Mario.

I've been asking this for a long time.
1/How does it differ from the a 3 yr Nex 5????
2/Does it have better IQ?
3/How long is Fuji going to be stuck in 16MP. It's been more than 5 years.

himotep: Dear ConanFuji, Idon't undertand why i've been dql. Rules said no bw nor sepia foto, my entry is partially desaturated. Can you explain, please?

I agree with you. Perhaps the term he used shouldn't be partial desaturation. It's actually selective desaturation, ie the car was rich wth red and the background was bw. It's a shame because his shot was leading the pack when it was dq ed.

It's a beauty

Hi, sorry for the late reply. partial desaturation is not full colours. You basically rubbed out some colours which were there.

I use to get photos of nude riders in a parade. For the record, I'm totally fine with those. It's not like they are obscene or anything.

Congratulations. It's a beautiful long exposure shot.

win13: Dear Host,

I have a photo that was submitted in a challenge before, however, it did not have :-

a Border + Title watermark on it.

•Do not submit shots used in previously completed DPReview.com challenges.

So I ask you, if one puts a Border + Title watermark on it, will that be dqued or not?

Win from sunny Thailand

Hi Win.
Thanks for the message.
If it's discovered that the shot has been used before, despite the addition of a border and title Watermark, I would have to remove it.
The objective is to keep it fresh.
I hope you understand.

onepilgrim: I download a photo one of my CDs to my desk top. Then I border it and watermark it and try to post it. I use the date that clearly shows up on my photo but the contest will not accept the date saying it is incorrect. How So? and what do I do?

Dear Onepilgrim,

The system is very sensitive to the date format. You have to follow its format exactly.
