Whats with the tilting horizon? If you fix that your chances would be better.

Congratulations! Just a small technical comment. It's fishermen, not fishermans

FranKois: I do not put in discussion the fact I have been disqualified, but in order to not risk it any more, I would appreciate knowing the reason. I did not won any challenge before, but frankly speaking the general level of this challenge does not seem neither very brillant nor original in comparaison with lowkey portrait or empty.
Thanks in advance for an answer.

Thanks for your opinion on the rest of the entries. I'm sure they appreciate your assessment of their shots as not brilliant.

The main difference between them and you was that they read while you didn't. Why don't you look at your entry again and see what's the difference with theirs.

In reply to:

Roy Sletcher: Several entries have ignored the last sentence of the rules requesting a title on the image.

Is this merely a request, and we can ignore it for voting purposes, or is it a rule with consequences?

I am supposing the former, but would like to be sure for my evaluation when voting.

RS

Dear Roy,
As far as I'm concerned, the border is part of the photo. If he wants to put the title on the border, I'm OK with it. Please don't penalize him just because of that. And yes, I require all photos to have a title watermark, you can press the complaint button on those without one.

Such a nice clean shot. Lovely view showing the Architect's intent and Engineer's solution.

'Having removable media gives users the option to swap out cards with another device or transfer images to a second device or computer via a card reader. '

While on a 7 day trip, I filled up my 16GB SD card by the third day. I ended up using 2 micro SD cards (with an adapter) to continue shooting with my Nex. One of the was a 16Gb micro SD card on my Android pad and the other was a 32Gb micro SD card from my Samsung Note 2 smartphone.

I also posted some shots from my Nex by transfering the micro SD cards back to my phone. It worked so well without any hitch and there aren't any noticable delay in write times.

I personally think SD cards will be extinct by the end of the year.
