To "Booky": get out of your Speedos an buy some decent pants and shorts. The RX100 is even shirt pocketable, the Mark II a tiny little less so, but they easily fit into jacket pockets or not too...

Fully agree. It`s the only versatile and pocketable cam with "good enough" IQ not constantly making one regret to have left he better gear at home. All the others will frustrate demanding users the...

Such an unbiased review! For example because of statements like the following: "Comparing the RX100 II's JPEGs to the Canon PowerShot G16's (a compact bearing a 1/1.7” CMOS sensor) is a little...

Nice lens, small sensor with all its limitations, including limited DR and not so impressive high iso performance. To me, there is no alternative to the RX100 in the pocket size format, unless a...

The only pocket size solution which can compete with mft or NEX with kit zooms are Sony`s RX100(II). All the others mentioned are good cameras but IQ wise not even close to the Sony. With the RX100...

I just upgraded form the RX100 to the II. Used with the EVF, which I already had from the RX1 (same EVF and same batteries) it offers a new and superior shooting experience. The EVF provides...

The RX100II is as good as mft or NEX with kit zooms. The sensor size disadvantage gets easily compensated by the superior lens and resolution wise, only a NEX7 could beat it. So if an equivalent...

Oh boy, you do have a problem now.:-D
Sell the RX100 and the Nikon and buy the RX100II, the Sony EVF and a few spare batteries. The EVF and batteries work for the RX1 and the RX100II and you will...

Keep the GR as the main camera and buy a V1 for USD 250 or so plus a refurbished 30-110mm zoom (Cameta).

They have an irrelevant 0.15% market share now and announced two years ago to grow it to 1%. About seven fold of the current one. Their product range will not allow this. So either they changed...

But you should also read this, where the same guy concludes that the Fuji files better the X-Vario ones if the right raw converter is used. I predict that he will sell the Leica before month end as...

I guess you are in the wrong forum and assume it`s a typo as I see a Leica 3D rendering ;-). Just kidding, but if you posted these without exif data in the Leica forum, just for fun, I`d love to...

So what is the point of your thread? Go shooting with what you enjoy and discuss your experiences with users of the same make. I never ever visit or post in Canon, Pentax, Panasonic..........fora...

I don`t know where it is going. Received mine yesterday. Superb build and from what I can see after a few shots only, already sharp at f 1.2 from corner to corner, pleasing oof rendering, N1 fast...

You are the first on who has successfully made a case for the X-Vario, imho. I will not buy one, but can see why it can bee an enthusiasts choice.

I still have the original DP1, the DP2x, the DP2M and DP3M as well as the Sony RX100. All with Richard`s grips. Highly recommended as they improve the handling of theses cameras substantially.
