Dodging and burning has been done since Ansel Adams and earlier. And yet to me, selective processing to PARTS of a photographic image strikes me as dishonest - you just didn't have the light you wanted, too bad. Why not just paint? Just my opinion.
Does this (should this) improve the score you gave in the review?
No shot was taken with an f-stop > f10. Is that where resolution becomes diffraction-limited?
