LarsDaniel: I can fully aggree on the conslusions, except for one thing: It puzzles me that it is regarded as expensive, given how unshamefully good it is. I mean: Next step up would be the Otus. Anyway, I am deeply awed by it, and it is such a joy to see how Sigma has stepped up their game. (More like a quantum leap, actually.) And no, I don´t have any close friends at Sigma.
Sigma is expensive and Canon and OTUS is not?... 1000/2000/4000
Sharp at 1.4. Nice bokeh though not as creamy as with Canon 50 F/1.2L. Much better than other Canon 50mm.
I love this video! He is getting the most of what he does, and does that as much as he can..
Expect it will work fine at the dark bar party shooting - with no flash! I have 50mm Art and I'm very happy with picture it produces at f/1.4.
As for SONY A 7s - I have an increadible high ISO test results: https://plus.google.com/u/0/113540123829280887772/posts/CKuXBfAh42Y?pid=6073189452363714706&oid=113540123829280887772
I have bought it and - oh, no! One side has 1/4" and the opposite - 3/8" thread. How is it supposed to be put in between monopod and a ballhead, that sits on monopod??? Guyes, get me the right one!
Looks like a goog compact companion to a full-size Canon DSLR to share lenses.
