I would call that bad design then. I can't image why a CDAF lens wouldn't be able to provide at least an approximation of the focus distance at any time.. Care to explain?

Technology moves so fast that at this point the X10 is already ancient.
The camera in my watch takes better quality photos.

The distance scale issue is a shame. It should be available for all lenses.

Of course they are. They both take photographs. One of them just does it much better than the other.

The I-Function is not something I couldn't live without. I would love for Samsung to update all of their lenses with a distance scale function though. That's what I would like on the 30.

Good to see Samsung support their cameras. Everything would be even better if the NX200 supported an external EVF.
