Nikon should make some reasonably priced lens in this range soon, as this focal lenght is very useful and $900 makes no sense for most people. I guess a cheaper portrait prime is not likely to...

I'd prefer it over nikon even with slightly inferior IQ. The greatest thing to me is how thin they were able to keep it. Even a small MILC with 28mm prime is way bigger
