I'm excited for you. Sounds like you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of the more capable a77, and coupled with the 18-135mm, you'll have wonderful range.
Being discreet: I'm appreciating a point &...

Wow, pretty impressive given the lighting & bobbing boats. I sure couldn't do that with my old camera or my point & shoot.
Ahh, Venice! We were there for the first time in April. Beautiful...

My husband works his butt off to make a nice life for his family. He's been on the treadmill for 30 years now, and if he wants to blow money on hockey equipment (his favorite fun), then I say do...

Hey! I am the missus!
DH was very sweet about it. He just smiled and said, "Well good!"

Thanks, Gm! I think I love it already and I barely know what I'm doing with it :) After using the a330, this is like going from a Corolla to a Lexus. Or more like going from WordPad to MS Word:...

Wow, it's here already. 24 hour shipping, one day early. The shipping box looked flimsy & a little beat up, so I hope the camera's okay. Inside the shipping box, there was the Sony box shoved...

I'd love to visit Vietnam. How long were you there?
As for me, the challenge of using different kinds of cameras is fun. I've been taking a darkroom class. I really like my digital cams, but I...

Yes you can, and that's part of the fun of photography, to shoot with different kinds of cameras. My favorite is actually my Minolta SRT 101 -- so gratifying in its simplicity & a beautiful piece...
