I pulled the trigger on the LX7 as well. I've owned almost the entire LX series, from the 2 through the 5. At $299, I couldn't resist upgrading to the 7. Sold my 5 to a friend for 150 to offset it....

All recent versions of Windows include the ability to unzip files natively (I believe since XP?). You can also use free, open source software like 7-Zip...

I applaud Sony for their strong push into the DSLR arena. More competition is always a good thing for the consumer... however Nikon and Canon will continue to dominate the market for some time to...
