For situations like this, a camera with a high flash sync works well – either have a flash with a HSS or a camera with an inherent high flash sync. For situations like these I have used the H50,...

All very nice pics. Only possible negative comment is on #1 - looks quite risky. Isn't that how Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin got killed?

Some suggestions:
Try using the EVF to adjust exposure
Bracketing
Using a circular polarizer
HDR
Using fill flash for people shots

All real nice shots. More South Beach please, like #5 :-)

Sony isn’t dumping the A mount just making it better.
Anything wrong with that?
So why all this panic?

The HDR mode is great to have. I like it so much, that I now shoot all my landscape shots in HDR Auto mode (RX100). The camera saves the normal exposure shot and the HDR one. Then you can pick...

What goes in for lunch must come out …!
Now get another shot of it coming out …. then you’ll know how good Canon cameras really are

I use those for everything, landscape, people, day, night. For night and lowlight, I use the MFNR a lot. Some posters said a while back to use vivid for landscape and standard for people, but I use...

Try using the Vivid setting and sharpness at +2. I prefer that to the default settings. You might like it better.

Lesser ? Certainly not. Some people seeing me with a tiny camera like that may see me as being a lesser photographer. But that’s not the way see myself. I recently took my RX100 on a trip to India,...

I considered the Nex 6 before deciding on the RX100. I would have gone with the Nex 6 if it had MR settings and a quieter shutter.
If the next version of Nex 6 has the above + auto ISO in M mode,...
