My experience is the zoom used is just marvellous. I have most of the DA & prime lenses but the 18-135 is just as good and very versatile.

I suppose it takes until you are satisfied with your results. I've been at 30+ years, sell my stuff for my living, several successful exhibitions. Am I satisfied - not yet.

I can only concur, such is the depth of knowledge by some posters it is surprising they are not successful manufacturers themselves! Its only a camera, if it doesn't suit - don't buy it, but leave...

Ditto for me. I bought the 7D primarily for on location studio tethering for high volume shoot & print and now it is my preference for horse race finishes due to the extra frame/sec over the K5....

I still do, given the time, but I find that generally it's grab the digital while the chance is there.
I have the Mamiya 7 and 43mm, a Hassy 903swc and a Noblex 150, all I which I enjoy immensely....
