I agree with the OP, the 800E sample just looks like a slightly over-processed version of the 800 sample. The contrast curve reminds me of standard definition Video camera frame caps.

What is the Original source of those images? If it is some ad copy explaining the difference between AA filter and not having it, they may have simulated it from shots from the same camera. I...

Deleting the AA filter from a camera at the factory shouldn't increase it's price.
