I had the same problem when I first got my K5. It started to loosen up after a couple of months. Also the width of different brand of card varies slightly. SanDisk seems to work fine.

I also found these adaptors, but only for the bigger Alpha models, not NEX. I need to use external studio flash and therefore need a proper hot shoe for the trigger, wireless or cable.
