6mpix is way enough for that tiny sensor and plastic optics

As fill-in flash. Start taking some pictures, you'll find out.

Finally metal plate and WR

K200D body for time travelling!

I have it. Good lens. Only needs firmware update to work with contrast detect live-view AF.

F3.5-5.9? 1/2.33? omg Create the same with 1/1.7", 12Mpix, 25-150/2.8-4 and I'll buy another Casio to my two older.

I still like my 17-70/2.8-4.5 :)

All you need is Pentax K5II + DA18-135. Still quite small and easy to carry, while it covers 90% needs.

640x480 web result on facebook is not decent quality :)

Oh yeah... 1200mm, F5.9, 16Mpix at 1/2.33" sensor Pics must be "great" Next time pls try 1/1.6" BSI with 10Mpix and 20-120mm lens F1.8-2.8

I have all these three
Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5 DC Macro (screw drive AF)
DA18-55WR
DA18-135WR
They are different animals. Hard to say which is best. If I had to keep one, it would be hard to chose...

No match for Pentax K5II..

They just upgrade firmware. I had the same with my 70-200/2.8 HSM II lens.. older firmware is not compatible with contrast based AF. Now it works with no problem.

Get some used/second hand AF-540FGZ instead. Manual flash is usable only in prepared environment and shutter below 1/180s. (studio work, static subjects etc).
For bicycle race you need high speed...

Pentax K20D/K7 with 18-55WR or K30 with 18-55WR If you mean to teach them something about photography. Olympus XZ-1 might be good if you are looking into compact range.

I use two Transcend 16GB class6 SDHC cards for my K5 with no problem. Buffer solves any problem and capacity is more than enough. Im shooting raw+jpg.
