RuthC: Congratulations, cand1d, on your excellent capture of this beautiful peaceful beach. I love the clear colours you've offered to us in this very tranquil scene. The size of the wandering dog gives us the necessary perspective to appreciate the panorama before us. A well-deserved third place. Ruth :-)

Thanks Ruth for your kind comments :)

Erik Ohlson: It looks trurly wonderful - like another world, but just for kicks, why not level the horizon & straighten the pagodas?

The horizon is uncertain here, but the pagodas are really a little bit not straight :)

This Shot was taken in Asturia (north Spain). Design can be very old.

Thank you for your kind comments. Bagan is a magic place! A lot of the fine dust in the air creates there fantastic light, especially at sunset or sunrise.
