Thank you for your kind comments. Bagan is a magic place! A lot of the fine dust in the air creates there fantastic light, especially at sunset or sunrise.
JohninTexas: Excellent photo!
ConanFuji: Congratulations! I like how you fill the shot with your main subject. That should be the way for most people shots.
Thanks for the comment!
barb_s: My personal favorite. I really like the foreground boat and angle of view. It's quite interesting, not the kind of photo you just page thru saying "that's nice". It's one I soak in with a very long gaze. Well done - congratulations on the win!
Thank you very much.
NZ Scott: Nice. Is this an HDR image?
Thanks! Is really an HDR one.
Is only 360 y. old
Is it a composit?
Thanks a lot!
santamonica812: I love the shot. I personally would have wanted to see how it looked with a much tighter crop--maybe showing a bit of the top of the pots up to just over his head...with all of the flames included. That would have directed attention to the dramatic reflection of the flames on the man's face.
see the crop in my galery http://www.dpreview.com/galleries/1839735408/photos/2444937/imgp1799-1
Tim A2: You and that K5 did good.
Thank you for your kind words!
