Nikon D600
Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2/25
Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2/35
I'm pretty happy about the D600, overall. I have only two "gripes" with it. One is subjective and concerns the way it feels in hands, the layout command, the buld quality perceived and the side grip, but the real "problem" imho is its lack of af sensitivity as soon as the light fades. If you're attempting a portrait of focusing a subject with one of the outer sensors, often you're forced to focus with the central point and reframe because the camera can't lock focus in dim light. This is to me the main and most important issue. I can't complain its low light capabilities at all, but the af sensitivity should be improved and I'm actually waiting for the next FF with EXPEED 5 base sensor.

Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD
Nikon D500
Carl Zeiss Apo Sonnar T* 2/135
Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD
Other gear:
  • Carl Zeiss APO Makro Planar T* 2.8/180 Probably the most wanted now to "round" my gear to 4 exceptional primes (5 with the 70, if any) it should encompass both the newest utmost rendition given by the 135/2 with a 1:2 close focus and pinpoint focusing typical of the 100/2 which is exceptional both on close and far distance.
  • Carl Zeiss APO Tessar T* 5.6/420 Zeiss, please give us something between 250 F/4 and 420 F/5.6 for long to very long shots.
  • Carl Zeiss Makro Planar T* 2/75 A very welcome addition would be this compact tele with 1:2 macro capabilities. Once you have the 100, you can value enough the extremely accurate focusing ring for utmost image quality - Please Zeiss keep the 67mm filter thread!
  • Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 58 F/1.2 After the Otus 55/1.4, I'm actually saving for it.
  • Nikon DF
