Hi,
I picked up my 6D today and the difference in layout will cause you grief when you try to swap between cameras. Just remembering where the focus point changes are, no joy stick etc
I tried...

I am quite sure the company I work for will pay,but the licence management will be horrendous for the iT team. But you will hear the screams world wide about paying extra costs on a monthly basis....

I am not sure what you guys are talking about.

Sorry, I have to disagree, the Canon USB is so slow it is not funny. If you are shooting raw and jeg on the other card the transfer rate is very low compared to using a discrete card reader.

Hi,
from my limited experience with those type of images the first thing to look at is the memory card.

I have read all the answers provided so far. My experience while not with a FF camera yet, I think goes with any camera lens combination.

Sunrise under the Matterhorn, Gornagrats I think it is spelt?
70-200 excellent lens, but not for carrying around mountains, weighs too much.

It lacks colour, probably not the correct word, but the shot seems very flat, nothing jumps out and grabs saying look at me.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to prepare such a detailed series.

Good one Jeff.
I would keep any electronic gear away from speaker systems which a lot of TVs have inbuilt.

Hi,

Thank you folks,
I have been doing some investigation into my past sunrise/sunset photography and found a large range of focal lengths and lenses. Best one with least flare is the 135 f2.

For kids this lens will not track fast enough and shooting at 1.4 is just a waste effort. Try 35 or 85 1.8 they have better focus gear or even better get yourself a secondhand 70-200 f4.
-
First thing the focus is not the reliable between 1.4 and 1.8
Second shots at 1.4 and 1.7 are soft
Third it really depends on how far you are from your subject.
I have done photos on a cruise ship...
