Love it, Alex. I'm saving those attempts for when the slide rail arrives.

Very nice, Alex. I'll have to try reducing the tele-macro and see what happens: I just received my Canon 500D and have been thinking "up close and personal".

Another vote for the Canon 500D. I just received mine yesterday and quickly attached it to the FZ150 to see what it would accomplish. Not many bugs about yet (maybe this weekend) but this is from...

Obviously you'll need to make certain that the menus are available in your native language: a lot of the Panasonics sold in Japan have their menus in Japanese and cannot be changed without a hack.

The display doesn't "slice and dice" the magnification to the tenth of a power which can lead to some variances. Yes, it would be nice if it displayed actual focal length...but which? "real"? or...

shunda77, you'd be one of those who knocked the penises off of Michealagelo's statues because they "offended your sense of morals". Fortunately there are those who can appreciate reality as it...

Thanks for those, Bruce. Since the EXIF does't show, could you advise what the individual shot shutter speed was in the two "Burst" modes? (I'm guessing that you can't piece out the individuals in...

A wonderful set, Maarten. Look forward to seeing more.

Update on the filter issue: the vendor has agreed that the filter shipped is the incorrect one and is replacing it with a Hoya ND8.

While there seems to be some concern that this might be due to a card problem: I don't know that I've heard of anyone having the issue with the FZ-150....or have they but not reported it? I've...

Erik, looking at that area on Google Earth it's easy to see that a great many of the "pocket beaches" in Norfolk Bay have that same formation (albeit more "wavy") whereas Ralph's Bay with a similar...

No problem, Hatstand. Always interesting to try applying different techniques to a problem and see what works and what doesn't.

You know, Martes...that was my thought...that the multiple exposures would only be a "series" of stills and upon stacking would not actually provide the "streaking" that a long exposure would. If...

OK: question answered. The filter supplied is the wrong one (it does say Vivitar Series 1 HD Multi-coated ND8 on the ring)
No ND filter
The supplied "ND" Vivitar filter
A graduated ND filter (very...

Thanks, no "tweaking"of the fine-tuning adjustment?
-
No, that's OK. I wonder if you recall what white balance settings you might have used?
-
Daniel, you just dodged a major bullet there! ;-)

Mine rotates every 20 minutes through whichever photo folder I've selected. Get tired of one, pick another.

That's getting really close to what I was looking for, Martes. Thanks for posting. Did you shoot that in RAW or JPG?
