Replied in Do your windows looks like mirrors?
Hangman you've hit the nail on the head. A few years ago we had the same problem
with a rosy finch during nesting season. We put a picture of a cat in the bird's
favorite window and he left...

Replied in Sony HX200V vs Sony HX30V - 2 Pics
They both look nice and sharp to me, but there is a color difference, and
only you can tell us which is closest to the real color. I like the hx30 because
its colors seem warmer, bur aside from...

Replied in This is why I love the 18m sensor
It looks to me like your HX10v has been superseded. I enjoyed your HX10V
pics, and hope you have at least as much success with your HX20.

Replied in Canon SX40 & Sony HX200
You're welcome! I've never owned a superzoom, and considered buying the
SX40 when it was first announced. What put me off was its lack of GPS. Now
I'm waiting for the sx40's successor to see...

Replied in Canon SX40 & Sony HX200
I hope someone on this forum answers your post. I read your post and its

Replied in The SX 40 is great.Does it need any improvement?
When the SX40 first appeared I was surprised to see that it didn't have
a GPS. The initial statement from Canon was that it would be a
wonderful camera for an African safari! In this day and...

The work you did on the mature bird's tail is remarkable. No sign of the
wire anywhere. Also removing the original backgrounds required a lot
of patience. How much time did all this take? I...

Replied in HX100V Male Bearded tit.
Alan, those are wonderfully sharp birds, and flower macros. Bird feeders
aren't usually listed as camera accessories, so I think youre onto something.

Replied in Travel Cam---Are the Small Sensor Superzooms Worth it?
Anyone had both and think saving 1/3 for the 230 is not a good choice?
I don't have the 260, but how can you decide against the 230 when
you see a sample like...

Replied in Travel Cam---Are the Small Sensor Superzooms Worth it?
There's a review of the SX260 on www.dcresource.com. Also have you
looked at the Sony HX20v? It's got a magnetic compass to go along
with its GPS. That will give you orientation to go along...
