I got the FOTGA metal lens adapters ( 10mm and 16mm) for use with the 100-300 this spring but haven't played much with them...
I agree with you about the size and weight since they seem to get heavier after using the m43 setup. I have the 35-100 pany as well but use it for mostly inside shooting. A nice lens.

I also have the 14-35 F2 and 35-100 F2 and I normally use them with the E5 for better AF than with the E-M5.
I am really hoping that the new e-m1 will be able to let me use them to full advantage...
I have found the 100-300 is capable of producing some nice results like your examples.
If I want to get closer I normally use the 50 mm F2 macro.
