For shots of the SD skyline, I would use telephoto for compression, wide angle for bridge shots.

Would a polarizer or ND filter help, the whites blown out almost made the video not usable.

Those 2 cameras are great low resolution, fast cameras.

Of course different sensors have varying abilities as far pushing and pulling the shadows and highlight. One size does not fit all.

That is one of the problems with the 99; it uses an apc spread AF module. It still is better than the one point AF of the 6d.

I think 4k will be in the nex 9. It will be substantially better for high meg pix cameras, a lot less to throw away, which seems to a problem with the 99.
