My friend just bought the D7100 with the 16-85 VR and 70-300 VR for just under $2000. That is a much better deal IMHO. It's like getting the second lens for free.

I believe the buffer size is smaller with ADC on while shooting RAW because the camera is still applying the ADC when creating the jpg thumbnail... or, I could just be plain wrong. ;-)

No. Fuji does something entirely different. Fuji uses a completely different RGB pattern on their X-Trans sensor filters than the traditional Bayer filters used by Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc. Fuji...
