Opinion: I love the camera. Is doing what is supposed to do.
I fell that reflex is going to die and will be replaced with EVF when they will make a good one. For now E500 is a good camera with good kit lenses. Even the E330 have a life view on LCD I am happy with the E500.
Problems: The viewfinder is not showing 100% of the picture.
Opinion: After Canon S300,the 10x zoom is a revelation!
IS realy works.The battery life is verry good.
All-around is a nice camera and i love it.
Problems: 1-some soft pictures
2-focus not very good
3-noisy pictures in the dark and at more than 100 ASA
Opinion: This is my first digital camera.i enjoy it for almost a year.From this forum I learn to buy an additional battery and 128 mb.
I buy also the underwater housing,and it works well to 30 m
(100 ft) depth.Compared to film underwater cameras,the small
digital is a pleasure! Ienjoy the screen,zoom,autofocus,macro
and flash.Ieven erase pictures underwater when the card was
full.
on the other side, the flash is weak and the lens port is in
his way.
