This was shot in Homer Alaska on the Spit when the tide was out. The eagle was taking off after being perched on a pylon typically underwater when the tide is in. Thanks!

I believe I overlapped the shots about 30% or so when capturing.

I did the stitching in Photoshop CS3. I converted in Nikon Capture NX2 (or maybe NX) to TIFF and then imported into Photoshop. I do not believe I did any real changes in NX2 - possibly just white balance applied the same to all.

I was impressed with how Photoshop got the sky right and how smooth it was.

I have only printed a few times at MPIX and was limited by their largest print size of 30" and had to crop. It looks really nice framed. Anyone know of a printer that will print long panaromas?

This shot has very little post processing. I was very surprised that photoshop did as well as it did on the stitching and the sky was smooth. That was how the sky actually looked for this brief period...this one makes a nice print too with the sky. Thanks for the comments!
