Great idea. Here are my 2cents
1) Should be open to ALL Nikon 1 CX lens only. NO FT1 + other lens. This will make fairly even to all Nikon 1 users since not all have the lenses. This will at least...

...if its really something I want and to be sure I get the right shot, I bracket -1, 0, +1 this way I hae at least 3 to choose from and play with during PP.

That's what I don't understand. Same item made/manufactured/assembled or whatever it's called..WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT PRICES IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD? I went home to the Philippines last...

...over price means different to different people, me included. I think the E-M1 is priced right considering the build quality, functions, specifications and other factors. The introduction of...

I would buy one in a heartbeat if Nikon makes this camera and brand V3.

What I'm trying to say is that use the P7800 body style with latest 1" Aptina sensor as a base for the V3 (with the control knobs and dials). Remove the fix lens and put the CX mount in its place...

WOW!! I never thought that the P7800 is BIGGER than the V1/2. I AGREE with you. Nikon can redesign the 7800 to accommodate the latest 1" sensor from Aptina then redesign the lens mount to accept...

Keep it as a back up. You'll never know when you need a 2nd camera. As you mentioned, it probably isn't worth much BUT its till a wonderful camera.

... m4/3!!! O-MD E-M5
I held up getting the V2 to upgrade my V1 to the V3. But if this what the V3 will be, NO UPGRADE for me. From what I see, everything is not right for the V Series. It suits...

Yes. I hope Nikon Marketing will do a descent job marketing this NEW product. I own a couple of V1 and waiting for the V3. But this RUGGED, UNDERWATER, SHOCKPROOF Series 1 is very appealing to me....

I understand that viewfinder is pretty much useless under, that's what the LCD is for. BUT, how much time is spent above water? That's when the viewfinder comes into play. Like on the beach, on...
