Clarivue ultra clear on mine. Screen mint and about fifteen dollars. I like my screens to stay perfect..not for resale but for me.

Makes me want to go out and shoot a lot of useless graffiti (vandalism) and bad modern art. One man's treasure is another man's junk. Photo hoarding is common. Just shoot for yourself and enjoy...

Another liberal crap rag slowly on it's way out. This is just a slow death. The paper became preachy and is tough to read. Surely the cause of the layoffs is global warming.

Good point. The RX1 is less versatile BUT the D600 is a brick by comparison. If it is just IQ I'd expect that to be close BUT I'd keep the RX1 as I am more likely to use it.

That is weird. Thousands of shots and mine is pristine. I do have it covered with a Clarivue Ultra Clear but with a bright flashlight I can see underneath it and it is mint.
Good luck.

I checked ALL the shots out and love this thread. Solid shots. Having just lost a brother you have reminded me of what a thoughtful person mine was. He always bought my wife and I gifts in all...

I would have preferred an X3 with a 1.8 or 2.0 lens with great glass, a modern LCD screen and a basic built in viewfinder (attaching the Leica or Olympus VF2 is okay by me). In any case I can't...

We have both the G15 and the RX100. The RX100 is a better camera with better image quality. It should be as it cost a lot more. That said the G15 really IS good but I wish Canon had bumped up the...

Thanks DPR. I love these types of comparisons and appreciate the work that goes into your doing them. The G15's ergonomics really work for me. We bought one for days when both my wife and I want...

LOVE this thread. Great shots of a great road. Thanks Bill.

You need to grow up. If you are not bright enough to see that my post and similar ones made by others are not directed at the writer of the article then you are beyond hope.

@OnMirage, Who appointed you Aztec God of the DPR forum? I believe the sentiment expressed belongs on a photography site. I posted in a mature way without spelling a curse word in a childish...

When you are satisfied with your image don't forget to pay your monthly rental fee.

No knock on the X100s but I don't think there is another fixed lens camera out there quite equal to the RX1. If you can do it money wise by all means make the switch and enjoy the camera.

I don't care for the gray and flat B+W treatment. In my mind I if I picture the photo cropped from the hair up I like it. Funny that someone hinted at a gall-bladder attack as my first impression...

The first one. Colors look natural.

To me it is duplication and over kill. I would wait for a great lens that might add something to your shooting style. I am also curious to see where full-frame is going. I would suspect that the...

This should put the price of the RX1 in perspective.

I will skip this upgrade as I will never buy the 55-200. I consider the 18-55 focus to be fast especially since I came to the Fuji via the Leica X1 which is very slow.
I have always done firmware...
